Who these terms are between
These terms are an agreement between you — the doctor using Medveda EMR — and Aarogya Mastu Healthcare Private Limited. By creating an account, you accept them.
What Medveda EMR is
Medveda EMR is software for recording consultations, issuing prescriptions and documents, and keeping patient records. It is a tool that a doctor uses. It does not practise medicine.
Clinical responsibility
You are solely responsible for every clinical decision you make. Nothing Medveda EMR displays is a medical opinion, a recommendation, or a substitute for your own judgement.
The software runs some safety checks and not others. It checks known interactions between medicines on the same prescription, and allergies recorded against the patient.
It does not check maximum or cumulative doses; dose adjustment for weight, age, pregnancy, or renal or hepatic function; contraindications other than those above; or anything absent from its drug data.
The absence of a warning is not an assurance of safety. It means the software did not test for that condition — not that the condition is not present. Verify every prescription before you issue it.
Your account
You must be a registered medical practitioner entitled to prescribe. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything done under your account.
Each doctor must use their own account. Accounts may not be shared. Every prescription is attributed to the doctor whose account issued it, and that attribution is part of the clinical record — a shared account makes the record name a doctor who did not prescribe.
Price and payment
Medveda EMR costs ₹3 per prescription, inclusive of GST. You add credit in advance and each prescription issued draws ₹3 from your balance. Payment is taken through Razorpay, and all payment methods it supports are available.
New accounts receive 800 free prescriptions, or 15 days, whichever ends first. Our Refund & Cancellation Policy forms part of these terms.
Your patients’ records
The records you create belong to your practice. We hold and process them on your instructions — our Privacy Policy sets out how.
If you stop using Medveda EMR, your records remain available for you to export for 90 days, after which they are permanently deleted.
Suspension
We may suspend an account for non-payment after a grace period, for breach of these terms, where we suspect an account has been compromised, or where a law or regulator requires it.
Suspension for non-payment is preceded by 30 days’ notice, given in the product, after which the account becomes read-only. It does not become unreachable.
Where we suspend for breach or suspected compromise, we may stop writes immediately. Read access and export survive.
Suspension is never deletion. A clinic cut off from its patients’ histories is a patient-safety event, not a billing outcome. Export remains available for at least 90 days after any suspension or termination.
Availability
The service is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Planned maintenance is notified in advance in the product. A service-level commitment may be introduced later.
Our liability
Our total liability to you, for all claims arising out of or relating to Medveda EMR, is limited to the greater of the total fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or ₹50,000. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or wilful misconduct, or for any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
Penalties imposed by a regulator are not a contractual liability and are not affected by this clause.
Changes to these terms
Changes are posted to this page with an effective date. Material changes take effect no sooner than 30 days after posting. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction.
